A Message from the Principal

Welcome parents, guardians, teachers and students. Thank you for visiting our school website to learn more about Griffeen Valley Educate Together National School. Griffeen Valley ETNS was established in Lucan in 2002. The past seventeen years have seen our school grow and flourish into the wonderful place that it is today. We are very proud of fantastic pupils – past and present. As an Educate Together School the motto” Learn Together to Live Together” is central to our school day as are the four strands of the Learn Together Curriculum – Moral and Spiritual, Ethics and the Environment, Belief Systems and Equality and Justice. Teaching at Griffeen Valley ETNS has always been an honour and a pleasure. Since 2006, through the roles of Assistant Principal and Deputy Principal, I have had the opportunity to work alongside an excellent group of colleagues, pupils and parents. As Acting Principal, I look forward to continuing to work with the school community as we guide Griffeen Valley through the next phase of its evolution.
