We have been doing lots of nice activities for well being week. Monday’s theme was ‘give’ – we got equipment on yard and we wrote compliments for everybody in class. There was lots of happy faces going home. Tuesday’s theme was ‘take notice’ – we observed our school building in all it’s beauty and sat outside and sketched our school. We also spent time looking at the clouds to see what shapes we could see. Wednesday’s theme was ‘be active’ we did a maths trail on the school grounds covering all the strands of the maths curriculum. Thursday’s theme was ‘learn’ some children taught us how to say some words in their native language. Friday’s theme was ‘connect’ – what better way to connect than to spend time outdoors with Peter’s junior infants, our buddy class😊
