We went to the local park on Thursday as it was National Hedge Grow Week.  Edel form Heritage Ireland met us there and explained lots of interesting facts from wild roses to hogweed.  We went on a scavenger hunt to identify species of trees and flowers. We were amazed at the wide variety of plants right on our door step.
